As you've probably heard (unless you're a silent onlooker out there in webland who for some reason has taken up grimblog-watching), early in the morning on 26 Nov 2003 Grady Michael Grimshaw showed up to the weigh-in for the wrasslin' match of mortal existence, tipping the scales at 9 lbs 11 oz, and nudging the upper end of the curve at 22 inches. You can admire some pics here. posted by Grimshizzle

Straighten up, boy, or else before you know it, you'll be behind bars -- crocheting. (Quite a touching story, actually.) posted by Grimshizzle

There's an article in today's Times about a new technology that is used to make vocal "fonts" of a singer's voice that can be manipulated (with a piece of $200 software) to "sing" any text. I think we should take Lichens the Musical direct to disc, casting the synthesized soul singers Leon and Lola in the lead roles. (If you want to hear what the computer voices sound like, click here -- but note that you have to download a piece of audio software first, and the download page is in Japanese...) posted by Grimshizzle
