Now I'm pissed. Via Blogger I was invited to try Gmail...the somewhat controversial, but very generous with memory free email service.

So, I signed up, spent a fair amount of time learning about and setting up the account to take full advantage of its many features, and voila...I can't receive email. After trading several emails with Gmail support, I'm now being told that I MUST have deleted my account at one point. Oddly, I can send anything I want OUT of the account, I just can't receive anything. It's kind of sad to see read, "You are currently using 0 MB (0%) of your 1000 MB."

I still see the invites when I log on to Blogger, but they know it's me, so I've created a lame new Blogger ID in order to foil the system...or perhaps not. Apparently, Google predicted just such behavior, and an invitation to Gmail is getting progressively harder to come by.
